Meet Our Accomplished, Award-Winning Chef

Mark Crane, Executive Chef at Sofitel Minneapolis and Colette Bar & Bistro, brings more than 14 years of accomplished cooking experience along with his passion for food to Twin Cities’ food aficionados. After completing an extensive, hands-on apprenticeship, Chef Crane cooked at several highly-acclaimed restaurants in Europe, including the award-winning Fawsley Hall Hotel and the Michelin award-winning Paris Restaurant, both in England. Serving as Executive Sous Chef at Sofitel Minneapolis since 2007, Chef Crane has finely tuned his craft, bringing his artful and modern techniques to the menu at Colette Bar & Bistro. His goal is to create traditional French cuisine with a local twist. His motto is simple: combine modern cooking techniques with the best local ingredients to create a truly “magnifique” dining experience. |
